St. AaronSt. Aaron lived in the sixth century and was a native of Britain. He traveled to Caesabre Island in Brittany, France where he became a hermit and soon attracted many followers, including St. Malo of Wales. They formed a monastic community with Aaron as the abbot. The saint was abbot for this group of monks for several years; little else is known about him. The island where the monks lived later became known as St. Malo. St. Aaron's feast day is June 22. |
